To settle a healthy corporate culture, we receive reports of sexual harassment, gender discrimination, and workplace bullying.

Reporting fraud and corruption
01. Subjects for reporting
  • Acquiring unfair profits (receiving money/entertainment, embezzlement, breach of trust) or requesting such in relation to the job.
  • Irrational management and negligence of work that cause loss to the company.
  • Corruption related to personnel affairs such as promotion, recruitment, and transfer.
  • Leaking internal information such as trade secrets and customer information.
  • Damaging company reputation, and ruining the setting of the office.
  • Suggestions for improving irrational work practices.
  • Unethical behavior of external persons related to Hangyang DGT.
  • Other acts that violate the ‘Code of ethics and ethical principles.’
02. Principles for reporting
  • Reports should only be made for establishing ethical management by correcting unethical behavior, and should not be made for the purpose of defaming specific members or departments.
  • Details of one’s private life which are unrelated to the company is not to be included in the reports.
  • In order to protect the informant's identity, it is recommended that the informant submit as much evidence as possible with clear description so that the investigator may have contact with as little people as possible during the investigation.
* Protection of informant
  • The investigator is obligated to keep the informant's identity and the details of the report strictly confidential, and if some details need to be disclosed during the investigation, the investigator must first obtain the consent of the informant.
  • No one, including the subject of the report, is to try and figure out who the informant is. Violating this rule will be heavily punished according the disciplinary regulations.
  • If the informant is a member of the company, he/she should not be given any disadvantages in personnel affairs, working conditions, workplace bullying that can be retaliation for the report. If the informant is an external person concerned, he/she must not be given any disadvantages in business relations.
  • Those who actively cooperate with the investigation of the unethical actions will also be protected as much as the informant.
  • The informant may request the ethical management officer of Hanyang DGT to take measures to guarantee his/her safety if he/she has been given disadvantages or is expecting disadvantages for making the report. The ethical management officer of Hanyang DGT will take appropriate measures to protect the informant.
  • However, for very limited cases that require a quick investigation (matter of one’s life, safety, environmental accidents, and leakage of confidential information), the investigator may disclose the details of the report, given that the informant’s status is guaranteed.
Process
01. Submit grievances
  • The group manager or human resources receive and handle grievances according to the company’s procedure.
  • For higher accessibility, the grievances can be submitted via online, phonecall, or messengers.
02. Counseling and investigation
  • We will investigate as soon as possible.
  • We will listen to both sides, the victim and the perpetrator, and investigate and record the details fairly and carefully.
  • Personal information learned during the investigation will be kept confidential.
  • Given the victim’s position, we will avoid having the victim and the perpetrator confront each other, and will listen to the references and witnesses.
  • We will protect the victims and witnesses from retaliation.
03. Confirmation and punishment
  • Once sexual harassment or workplace bullying is confirmed, we will take appropriate measures such as warning, reprimand, transfer, placed in waiting, suspension, and dismissal.
  • Light punishments such as warning will be given if it is certain that such punishment will be enough to eradicate sexual harassment and bullying. If such acts continue even after the warning, the perpetuators will be given additional punishments.
  • If the victim wants, the perpetuator will be transferred.
04. Notification of results
  • The results of the investigation will be notified to both the victim and the perpetrator.
Protection
01. Principles of protection
  • All management personnel of the company shall not disclose the information on the identity of the informant, or imply it in anyway without his/her consent. Any disadvantages given to the informant due to failure to comply with this principle will be compensated, and we will do all we can to restore the damages done.
02. Standards for protection
  • The protection of the informant is carried out in case the informant’s name and accurate evidence is submitted. Any reporting information on informants and related people will be thoroughly protected.

  • No tracking down the informant
    - The person subject to the report, or the department of the person must not take any attempt in tracking down the informant. Violation of this rule will be severely reprimanded.
04. Protection measures
  • Hanyanh DGT keeps the identity of the informant and the details of the report strictly confidential, handled only by a few.
  • The identity of the informant and the details of the report are kept strictly confidential. The reporting system is protected by a safe security system.
  • The reports are received by a limited few who have pledged to follow the rules of confidentiality.
05. Follow-up management of informant
  • If any disadvantage given to the informant is recognized to be caused by the report, all damages caused will be compensated.
